Holetown Festival 2026 Celebrate Barbados’ Heritage & Culture
Each February, the west coast of Barbados comes alive with the vibrant Holetown Festival, a week-long celebration marking the island’s first English settlement in 1627. Held in Holetown, the festival is one of the island’s most loved cultural events, blending history, music, food and community spirit.
This year, the Holetown Festival takes place from 15–22 February 2026, featuring a lively programme of events including opening ceremonies, heritage talks, guided historical tours, live music, street fairs, artisan markets and the ever-popular liming tents. Visitors can enjoy authentic Bajan cuisine, local crafts, classic car parades and high-energy soca performances throughout the week.
Perfectly timed during Barbados’ dry season, the Holetown Festival is a wonderful opportunity for visitors to experience the island’s culture while enjoying warm weather, beautiful beaches and the relaxed rhythm of west coast living.
