A morning at Hunte’s Gardens

Tucked into a gully in St. Joseph, Hunte’s Gardens is one of those places that just feels special. Created by Anthony Hunte in the ‘90s and opened to the public in 2007, it’s a winding, tropical haven filled with towering palms, orchids, and little nooks to sit and take it all in.

Chukka now helps manage the experience, but Anthony’s still very much there — greeting guests, telling stories, and sharing his garden the way only he can. It’s peaceful, lush, and a lovely way to spend a quiet morning away from the beach.
